The foundations of reality itself are shaking. Hidden beneath a railway arch in Haggerston is our immersive bar and the only known portal to the Otherworld.

The Otherworld is a unique island retreat, built within Virtual Reality. The natural beauty of its four seasons is an antidote to the chaos of urban living. The island contains sixteen unforgettable VR experiences: Fight a zombie apocalypse deep in Arizona; escape the HBO's Westworld; blow up robots with laser cannons...

Diving into a parallel universe can be perilous. Solo travellers are welcome, but this journey is best enjoyed with friends. Otherworld is a perfect experience for birthdays, team-building activities, an office party escaping reality, or a #squad on a mission.

WHAT TO EXPECT

When it's time to depart this reality, our host will guide each member of your party to their own 'Immersion Room'. This is our unique technology combining virtual reality with dynamic heat, wind and rumble effects. A trip to the Otherworld wouldn't be the same without the wind in your hair and the sun on your face!

Put the headset on and you will have entered the Otherworld... You are not alone. Inside the Otherworld you can see and hear your friends as avatars, and explore together.

The Otherworld is a parallel universe with an island at its heart, which contains portals to sixteen of the best virtual reality experiences on the planet. Some are multiplayer, and some are solo adventures. You can change between experiences at any time by returning to the island at the push of a button.

Groups larger than 14
will go into VR in turns.
The rest of your party can relax, bathe in OTHERWORLD's light show,
and enjoy some food and drink.

RAPSA @100 HOXTON

Our set menu has been masterfully designed by Mediterranean-trained Pinoy chef Francis Puyat of Rapsa @100 Hoxton. They have created an innovative but accessible menu, mouth-watering in its simplicity and heart-warming in its price.

At Otherworld the food concept is simple, small plates and sharing boards drawing mainly from Asian flavours,spices and ingredients inspired by Francis Puyat's homeland in the Philippines. We'll arrange a delicious selection for your whole group to enjoy, before or after your journey!
